‘The guy who don’t sleep’

By Curt Kipp — Posted August 28, 2012

DONALD — The big thinker in this dozy little town is a guy who can’t sleep. That would be Gary Grossen, the G of GK Machine Inc., a manufacturing plant that designs, fabricates, assembles and ships custom farm and industrial equipment to customers around the world ….

“He looks at anything others say can’t be done, and wants to do it,” marketing manager Connie Bradley says. “He won’t argue with anybody, ever. He never says anything. What he does is go back and noodle. He’ll talk to the engineers, he’ll talk to the farmer. He’ll get in his car and drive 1,000 miles, or get in an airplane and fly to Europe, because he’s curious about something.”
