Skagit Horticulture, a nationwide supplier of annuals and perennials, has appointed Scott Crownover to serve as chief operating officer, starting September 1, 2018. Crownover joins the company with more than 34 years of experience in the industry, which includes leadership positions at Vaughan’s Seed Company and McHutchison Horticultural Distributors, a division of Dümmen Orange. His skill for building strong working relationships and navigating business negotiations make Crownover an ideal candidate to develop strategies to advance Skagit Horticulture in the commercial horticulture market.

“Scott’s reputation in the industry for leadership, customer and vendor partnerships, and innovative thinking are what we are so enthusiastic about adding to our team,” says Mark Buchholz, President and CEO of Skagit Horticulture. “We’re excited for the fresh ideas he can bring to our company, and the leadership and support he can provide for our national sales teams in all of our divisions.”
